咸吃萝卜淡操心

Actually means:

When you pickle radishes, you must put more salt in them, so that they will last longer and won't go bad easily. If you put less, you have to worry about whether it will go bad or not.

It metaphor busybodies often do not know the truth of the matter, but there to worry about, do not any help. It means minding other people's business.

原意是腌制萝卜干的时候一定要多放盐，那样可以放的比较久，不容易坏。放的少了就要经常操心会不会坏掉变质。

比喻爱管闲事的人很多时候并不了解事实的真相，而是在那里瞎操心，帮倒忙。也指某人多管闲事。
