Actually means:

炕 is a kind of bed made of clay or brick and it is used by northern Chinese. There is passage that connects the chimney of the stove and it can warm up the bed. Kang Tou refers to the end that is closer to the range. Re Kang Tou figuratively refers to the cozy home.
