Actually means:

be presentable

It means that the gift to be presented to someone else conforms to the conventional standards in quantity and class and is thus presentable. It also means that the speaker feels confident that his possession or competence is good enough for exhibition. It is the antonym of 拿不出手.

要给人的东西，在数量和档次方面符合通行的标准，送出表不失体面；也指自己的东西不错失体面可以公开展示；又指自己的本事顶用。和“拿不出手”相反。
