The pinyin for these three characters is the same: ta with the first tone. However, the characters mean differently even though they are all pronouns. Here, it's worthy of noting that these few pronouns are the only case that people can identify the person is female or male because Chinese does not really have gender differences, unlike Spanish or French.
More specifically,
他-he/him (when you want to use this pronoun with a male person)
她-she/her( when you want to use this pronoun with a female person)
它-most of the time, it's like" it" in English, when you want to use pronoun to describe someone or something is hard to identify the gender or you not sure the gender. 它 also can be used when to describe unlived things, in other words, objects who don't have lifes.
Hope this helps.

In Mandarin Chinese, 他 (tā), 她 (tā), and 它 (tā) are all third-person singular pronouns, they have the same pronunciation but they are used to refer to different person or things in differnt contexts. Simply speaking,
他 (tā) =he or him 她 (tā)=she or her 它 (tā)= it

They can be used as both the subject and object of a sentence.

In Mandarin Chinese, 他 (tā), 她 (tā), and 它 (tā) all mean "it" or "he/she" but they are used in different contexts.
他 (tā) is used to refer to a male third-person pronoun, similar to "he" in English.
她 (tā) is used to refer to a female third-person pronoun, similar to "she" in English.
它 (tā) is used to refer to a non-human object or an animal, similar to "it" in English.

It's important to note that while 他 and 她 are gender-specific, 它 is not and can be used to refer to both male and female non-human entities, as well as inanimate objects.
