不 (bù):
"不" is a general negation marker used to form negative sentences or negate verbs/adjectives.
It is often placed directly before the verb or adjective it negates.

Example: 我不喜欢 (Wǒ bù xǐhuān) - I don't like.

没有 (méi yǒu):
"没有" is used to indicate the absence of something or the lack of existence of something.
It is commonly used to negate the presence of nouns or indicate the lack of possession.

Example: 我没有钱 (Wǒ méiyǒu qián) - I don't have money.

In summary, "不" is more general and can be used to negate verbs and adjectives, while "没有" specifically indicates the absence or lack of something and is often used with nouns or to indicate possession. The choice between them depends on the context of the sentence and the part of speech being negated.

Cả “不”và “没” đều có thể dùng để phủ định sự việc, hành động ở hiện tại. Tuy nhiên, “没” mang tính khách quan, còn “不” mang tính chủ quan.

没(有) is also used to negate the past tense of verbs, such as 我没写(I didn't write) 他没去(He didn't go) and so on.
