Hi! I'm Lilian, a passionate language teacher, writer, former singer, barista, and lifelong explorer. Originally from China, I've traveled and lived across Asia and Africa, sharing my love for language and culture everywhere I go. WhetherI have lived all over the world or teaching Mandarin in Kenya, I believe learning is most powerful when it’s joyful, personal, and creative.
With years of experience in teaching Chinese to students of all ages and levels, I bring a warm, patient, and storytelling-based approach to every class. I use drama techniques, real-world conversations, music, and cultural context to make Mandarin feel alive — not just something you memorize, but something you live.
