Hello everyone! My name is Iris. I’m a Chinese. Now I live in Beijing and I speak mandarin. Actually my major was project management when I studied in England, but unexpectedly, some my classmates were really interested in learning Chinese. Unfortunately I couldn’t teach them professionally at that time. So after graduation, I came back to China and attended a very systematical training and obtained the certificate of teaching Chinese as a foreign language from Beijing Language and Culture University. Luckily I soon mastered the methods of teaching Chinese. The number of my students gradually increased from 1 to 16 within three months, and  I taught Chinese one-on-one for seven hours a day. I've been teaching Chinese as a foreign language more than five years.

I am especially good at teaching daily life Chinese and business Chinese because most my students worked in multinational companies, and it is necessary for them to learn some basic Chinese for surviving in Beijing and academic Chinese to support their work.  The most striking feature of my teaching is that I can compile textbooks according to various needs of different students. I believe that language is a tool of communication, and it should be practised instead of being learned. As a Chinese teacher, I would like to pay attention to interacting with students, inspiring and guiding students to practise by role-playing, and tell them the rules I have summarized for many years, so as to help students totally understand and master the knowledge they have learned.

In a word, not any a Chinese is able to be a qualified Chinese teacher. I would like to be a good helper on your way to learn Chinese.

There are a lot words and expressions, which have been used without any second-thoughts, astonish me from time to time. For example, "有点儿“and "一点儿”, it has never occurred to me that "有点儿“ expresses a tone of unsatisfactory. "怎么走“和“怎么去”, one is to ask about the route and one is to ask the manner of transportation. At the same time, it is also fun to see that students from all over the world are fascinated in the long Chinese history and the unique pictograph Chinese Characters. Someone says Chinese is difficult, however there are still many "foreigners" who can speak very proficient Chinese. It is up to the persistence and perseverance. My Notes for StudentsMarie-trial lesson level A2-B1I uploaded "Graded Chinese Grammar for International Students", enjoy it. https://www.cchatty.com/pdf/3857
