For action verbs, from eating and sleeping to walking, running, or even studying: add le 了:
I went.
Wǒ qù le.
我去了。
I ate.
Wǒ chīfàn le.
我吃饭了。
I slept.
Wǒ shuìjiào le.
我睡觉了。
Non-action verbs (feelings) are no different from present tense; don’t add le 了. Non-action verbs of thought, feeling, and emotion, and verbs of knowing and informing include everything from “like” and “love” to “think,” “feel,” “understand,” “know,” “ask,” “tell,” etc.:
I liked him.
✔ CC: Wǒ xǐhuān tā.
我喜欢他。
✖ BC: Wǒ xǐhuān tā le.
我喜欢他了。
I came to like him.
Ten years ago I liked white clothing.
✔ CC: Wǒ shíniánqián xǐhuān báisède yīfu.

I loved her.
Wǒ ài tā.

Non-action verbs used to express asking or telling are exceptions to this rule IF they have a simple direct object:
I asked her something.
Wǒ wèn le tā yíjiàn shì.
我问了她一件事。
BUT:
Yesterday I asked her if she wanted to go shopping with me today.
Zuótiān wǒ wèn tā xiǎng bùxiǎng jīntiān hé wǒ yìqǐ qù mǎi dōngxi.
昨天我问她想不想今天和我一起去买东西。Where to Get Organic Food in Beijing?
Food scandals in China may make foreigners bothered about the quality or safety of food items. If you want healthy and safe food products without any chemical to contaminate, you should buy organic foods in China.
Getting Organic Food delivered at your Doorstep
It may seem surprising to foreigners but China also has farms that are growing organic food. Several farms are certified, while others are trying to follow the same standards of growing organic food.
Most organic farms are far away from Beijing city. There is only one organic farm in Beijing that is located in the Changping district. This farm is not licensed but following the same growing standards. You can get an online delivery service and order seasonings, fruits, vegetables, grain from your home. You can find the website on the internet. The website is quite simple for foreigners. So you can easily get your food items at your doorstep.
Buying Organic food from a farmers market
Ordering fruits and vegetables online sound convenient, but sometimes you don’t get fresh food and need to check the items yourself. In local markets, the greens look fresh but may have lots of insecticides. So it is better to go to the framer market to buy organic food.
Beijing farmers market was organized by an expat couple. The market brings many local farmers together. Though the organic certification is very costly in Beijing, therefore the market controllers inspect small farmer’s production before declaring the food organic quality. The market location is very convenient for expats and other people. You can find the location on the Beijing map.
Several supermarkets in Beijing have products labeled organic. But the quality of these products can’t be compared to the variety of organic products you can get from the farmers' market. So always buy organic food from the farmers market.Comparative Analysis: Leading Payroll Software in the Indian MarketLi Ziqi, she is a Chinese internet celebrity who became famous by documenting her self-sufficient style of living in rural Sichuan Province.
She was orphaned at a young age and lived with her grandparents until adulthood. After spending multiple years working as a DJ in a big city, she returned to the rural areas to take care of her grandmother after her grandfather passed away.
Using traditional techniques, Ziqi has shown an incredible ability to whip up food and other creations from scratch using only what’s around her.

Ziqi has over 58 million fans around the world on social media but has continued on her campaign to show the world a glimpse of Chinese culture that seems to be fading away fast.
In her videos, she rarely talks when working and tech devices are mostly never shown. This stands in stark contrast with what our society looks like today, with million addicted to their phones constantly.
I’m proud that she is trying to display a different style of life that is still being lived by people in rural areas. It is easy to forget how easy we live today compared to our ancestors' hundreds of years back. All of us need to take time and really reflect on that.
We should stop living so harmoniously with our devices and stop taking nature for granted. It is really amazing how far you can go just by living off Mother Nature’s gifts.
