中文里的矮和低 比较 

矮 ǎi and 低 dī both are adjective .The opposite of Ai and di can be gao , so that you probably have been easily confused when using ǎi and dī. 

矮：主要指具体事物的形象，可以修饰身高或者描述物品的高度。如“个子矮 ；我喜欢那棵比较矮的树。 柜子、房子矮”… 矮 describe appearance of something . that can be man or animal furniture or building looks like. 

低：主要指抽象事物及指在水平面以下的东西。 如“低年级、低价格、低电量、分数低” 低 describes abstract things that are lower than a specific level, for example low grade ，low price , low battery, low score…
