improve your listening greatly

1. Completely hear the recording

Before reading the material, you should listen to the entire tape at least once so you can gauge how much you were able to understand. Don't worry too much about taking notes on the first listen; instead, concentrate on comprehending as much as you can.

2. Repeat playing the recording.

This time, make an effort to note any unfamiliar phrases or passages that perplexed you. By recognizing terminology and language you already know but didn't fully comprehend the first time, you should be able to comprehend more than you did the first time.

3. Look at audio's transcript.

You should be able to determine how well you understood the audio as you read the transcript. When reading the transcript, look up any unfamiliar words and, if you come across any unclear grammar structures, do the same.

After reading the text, the objective is to fully comprehend what was said on the recording. Language learners frequently mistakenly believe they have understood something before realizing they haven't after reading the transcript. If something occurs to you, don't let it demoralize you. In fact, you should anticipate it.

4. Replay the audio while reading the transcript.

You are assembling everything in this final phase. By following along, you are teaching your brain how to pronounce the words. The most crucial thing is to read along while listening at least once, though it can be helpful to repeat this process.
