醉翁之意不在酒:

the old Tipplers' delight does not reside in wine

Actually means:

An ancient Chinese author Ouyang Xiu once wrote, "The drinker's heart is not on the cup; it is on the mountains and lakes before his eyes."

Later on, this phrase is used to mean that, while doing something, one has other things in mind.

古代作家欧阳修的文章说：“醉翁之意不在酒，在乎山水之间。”

后来用“醉翁之意不在酒”指做某事的真正用意不在所做的事情上，而另有别的意图。
