Actually means:

闲事 refers to business which has nothing to do with someone.

This phrase means interfering in others'business, or caring about something in order to keep social justice, though it is irrelevant to himself.

It is derogatory in the former case.

闲事，这里指跟自己没有关系的事。

管闲事，干涉与自己无关的事，或者虽然与自己无关，却与维护社会公平和公正有关的事。

前一种情况具有贬义色彩。
