地下经济:

Literally means:

underground economy.

It refers to any economic activity that evades government supervision and is not included in the government statistics.

Actually means:

It often refers to those illegal and secret economic activities whose production value, profits or operation is hidden from the government, for example, smuggling, drug trafficking, tax evasive business dealings, underground （illegal）factories or casinos, etc.It carries a sense of derogatory.

地下经济，指逃避政府监管的，没有列入政府的统计数字的经济活动。

地下经济，多指不公开进行的，不让政府了解其产值或收入，以及经营情况的非法经济活动，如走私、贩毒、逃避税收的商业交易、暗中开设工厂或赌场，等等。具有贬义色彩。
