六神无主

Literally means:

all six vital organs failing to function-out of one's wits

Actually means:

be in state of utter stupefaction

六神 is regarded by Taoism as six deities each of whom governs one of the six organs: heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, spleen and gallbladder. It generally refers to the state of mind.

The phrase means that a person too panicky, shocked or anxious to know what to do. It is often used in times of emergency or accidents.

六神，道教认为人的心肺、肝、肾、脾、胆各由一个神主宰，合称六神。泛指心神。

六神无主，形容人惊慌或着急而没有主意，不知道该怎么办。多用于突发事件。
