Actually means:

I will offend nobody unless I am offended. It is used as a warning that I will not initiate an attack, but if anyone challenges me, I will surely counterat tack. Therefore, this phrase is often followed by 人若犯我，我必犯人, meaning if anyone attacks me, I will surely counterattack him.

别人不侵犯我，我就不会侵犯别人。用来表示警告:我不主动惹人，但是如果别人惹我，我一定反击。因此常和“人若犯我，我必犯人”一起连用。
