Interesting. Not sure how practicing with your non-dominant hand would help, but I came across this YouTube video on "How to Learn Chinese (Mandarin) On Your Own for FREE" by Brian Wiles | Captain English
https://youtu.be/WyehfFj72zY?feature=shared&t=617
In it, he mentioned two apps that can help you improve your writing skills:
1. Daily Mandarin
- 100% Free
- https://apps.apple.com/us/app/daily-mandarin/id1317121924
2. Skritter: Write Chinese
- Subscription based but "better training system and stroke recognition"
You could also try using Anki flashcards where the question could be the thing in English and the answer is simply a screenshot of the character/stroke order of that word. Definitely more tedious, but maybe someone has already made that online. You could always try using those HSK prebuilt flashcards and modify them like adding stroke order etc. Just a personal thought, but this type of repetition would help build those long-term memories.
