How do you guys teach kids younger than 18?

I'm expecting to teach two new students in class, twins, both aged at 10 years old. I'm not accustomed to that age range so I was hoping to get some advice. What if they refuse to pay attention to my curriculum? Am I supposed to discipline them? Any advice would be a great help, thank you.
