Definition
不但……而且…… means “not only……, but also……”.
不但……而且……, is one of the Coordinate Complex Sentences (并列复句), and indicates addition and progressive relations.
不但……而且……, links the two clauses, the order of the clauses of progressive relation cannot be reversed at all, and the second clause goes further in meaning than the first one.
Example
不但……而且……
When the two clauses linked by 不但……而且…… share one subject, 不但 should be placed after the subject in the first clause.
When either clause has its own subject, 不但 should be placed before the subject in the first clause.

我们说不但A而且B，A和B 可以是形容词，也可以是心理动词。(想、喜、欢、爱)
一般是说一个东西有两个特点,比如在北京水果很多，好吃是一个特点，第二个特点是便宜。（水果 = 好吃 + 便宜）
我们可以说：北京的说过不但好吃，而且便宜。（板书）
好，跟我读(教师带读2遍。学跟读)
师说：“不但……而且……也可以说人。
比如，一个女孩，又漂亮，又善良（性格又好）这个句子用不但……而且……怎么说呢？
Notes：很多学生不明白善良，可以用性格代替。
生说：这个女孩不但漂亮而且性格好(板书)。
师说：对，非常好，我咖啡、茶都喜欢。可以说……？
生说：……
师说：老师不但喜欢喝咖啡而且喜欢喝茶。(板书)。
板书：不但…A…而且…B…
