Definition
The affirmative-negative question (正反问句) is made up of the juxtaposition of the affirmative and negative forms of the predicate. The listener can choose one of the forms as an answer.
Example
The affirmative and negative forms of an adjective compose an affirmative-negative question.
好不好? 行不行? or 对不对? is often added after a declarative sentence to form an affirmative-negative sentence. Used to ask for the listener's opinion, they have the same meaning as 好吗? 行吗? or 对码?
