Modern Chinese literature authors

After talking with some Chinese literature students, I discovered some very famous Chinese authors and their works, and want to share with the community:

  • 莫言 (Mo Yan): 蛙 (Frog)
  • 阎连科 (Yan Lianke): 丁庄梦 (Dream of Ding Village)
  • 张爱玲 (Eileen Chang): 半生缘 (Half a Life Romance)

There's lots of amazing Chinese literature, which is often not well known to English speakers. I hope intermediate and expert learners can start to explore some modern Chinese literature.
