YCT Standard Course/YCT教材

The YCT standard course is a textbook series compiled by the Confucius Institute/Hanban. There are currently six standard text. The advantages of using this series of textbooks is that it not only enables students to learn Chinese through a comprehensive and systematic approach but also take the YCT Chinese Level Test, an international test for Chinese language learners under the age of 15 whose first language is not Chinese. The three levels are:

• Level 1:  Children who have mastered about 300 Chinese words are suitable for taking the Level 1 Children's Chinese Test
• Level 2: Children who have mastered about 600 Chinese words are suitable for taking the Level 2 Children’s Chinese Test
• Level 3: Children who have mastered about 900 Chinese words are suitable for taking the Level 3 Children's Chinese Test

YCT教材是由孔子学院总部/国家汉办编写的教材，目前共有六个标准教程。选用该教材的优势不仅能让学生通过全面且系统化的进行有效的汉语学习，同时还可以参加YCT汉语等级考试（面向第一语言非汉语的15岁以下汉语学习者的国际性考试），共三个等级，如下：

• 一级：掌握300个左右汉语词语的少儿汉语学习者适合参加一级少儿汉语考试
• 二级：掌握600个左右汉语词语的少儿汉语学习者适合参加二级少儿汉语考试
• 三级：掌握900个左右汉语词语的少儿汉语学习者适合参加三级少儿汉语考试

Teaching methods/教学方式

• According to the students' Chinese proficiency, different text in the course series are chosen and classes are individually designed.
• Lively and interesting classroom activities, such as flashing cards, talking with pictures, role-playing, animation presentations, etc.
• Active teaching is carried out through a very friendly and patient teaching method, constantly encouraging students to speak Chinese in order to always capturing children's attention.
• Ensure that students always learn Chinese vocabulary and skills in each class, enabling them be able to use Chinese in daily life.

• 根据学生的汉语水平进行量身定做的教材选择以及课堂设计
• 提供生动有趣的课堂活动，如：闪卡片，看图说话，角色扮演，动画展示等
• 通过极具亲和力和耐心的方式展开大量的课堂互动，不断鼓励学生开口说中文，时刻抓住孩子们的注意力
• 确保学生每堂课都可以学有所获，能够及时运用到日常生活中
