HSK2

HSK Standard Course 2 is suitable for students who have had 30-34 class hours of Chinese learning an mastered approximately 150 words, or those who are going to take the HSK Level 2 test. The following note need to be made clear:

The book is composed of 15 lessons. Centering on one task-based theme in four situations, each lessor teaches an average of 10-15 new words and 2-4 language points. The book was written strictly abiding by the 300 words required in the Syllabus (Level 2), including the 150 words of Level 1. Only 14 words in this book are not included in the Syllabus (marked with "*" in the book), and basically all of them are Level 3 words

We suggest each lesson take 2-3 hours.

As the second book of this series, this book is written based on the concepts of compilation and stylistic layout of HSK Standard Course I with its difficulty and depth being increased

Each lesson is composed of 7 parts, namely Warm-up, Text (with new words), Notes, Exercises, Pronunciation, Characters and Application. A cultural note is designed after every five lessons. As the extended reading of the text, it introduces pertinent cultural background information.
