This course is tailor-made for learners who have little or no prior knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, focusing on the core content of the HSK 1 syllabus (Chinese Proficiency Test Level 1). Through systematic and interactive teaching, you will master essential vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and practical communication skills needed for daily scenarios—such as greetings, introducing yourself, asking for directions, and talking about daily routines. By the end of the course, you will not only build a solid foundation in Mandarin but also gain the confidence to take the HSK 1 test and achieve a passing score. 1 )Who is the course for?​

Absolute beginners with no prior experience in learning Mandarin Chinese.​

Learners who plan to take the HSK 1 test and need targeted preparation.​

Overseas students, expats, or language enthusiasts who want to learn basic Mandarin for daily communication (e.g., traveling in China, making Chinese friends, or simple work interactions).​

Parents who wish to guide their children to start learning Mandarin from the basics.​

2 )Requirements​

No prior Mandarin knowledge is required—this course starts from "zero".​

A computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access (to watch video lectures and complete online exercises).​

A notebook and pen (to take notes on vocabulary, pinyin, and sentence structures).​

Basic listening and reading skills in English (as the course instructions and explanations are in English).​

3 ) What you'll learn​

By the end of this course, you will be able to:​

Master 150+ core HSK 1 vocabulary words (e.g., 你好 (nǐ hǎo - hello), 谢谢 (xiè xie - thank you), 水 (shuǐ - water), 家 (jiā - home)) and use them in daily conversations.​

Understand and pronounce standard Mandarin Pinyin (including initials, finals, and tones) correctly—laying the foundation for accurate speaking and listening.​

Use 20+ simple sentence structures (e.g., "我是... (Wǒ shì... - I am...)", "这是... (Zhè shì... - This is...)", "我喜欢... (Wǒ xǐhuān... - I like...)") to express personal information, preferences, and daily needs.​

Communicate in 5 common daily scenarios: Greetings and introductions, asking for and giving basic information (name, age, nationality), talking about food and drinks, asking for directions, and describing daily activities.​

4 ) Lesson Description​

Each lesson is designed to be 45-60 minutes long, with a clear structure that balances "input" (learning new content) and "output" (practicing what you’ve learned):​

Warm-up (5 mins): Review of the previous lesson’s key points (vocabulary, sentences) through quick quizzes or short dialogues.​

New Content (20-25 mins):​

Pinyin practice (audio drills to master tones and pronunciation).​

Vocabulary teaching (with pictures, real-life examples, and memory tips).​

Sentence structure explanation (simple, step-by-step breakdowns with English translations).​

Practice (15-20 mins):​
