HSK

The Chinese proficiency test was designed and developed by the National Hanban and Confucius Institute Headquarters [3]. The National Hanban is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. [3] The National Hanban develops and implements the Chinese proficiency test, [3] including the basic Chinese proficiency test (abbreviated as HSK (basic)), the primary and secondary Chinese proficiency test (abbreviated as HSK (primary and secondary) and the advanced Chinese proficiency test (abbreviated as HSK (advanced)). [1] HSK is held regularly in China and overseas every year. Those who have achieved the prescribed standards in the examination can obtain the corresponding level of Chinese Proficiency Certificate. The Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China has set up the National Chinese Language Proficiency Test Committee, which has the full authority to lead the Chinese language proficiency test and issue the Chinese language proficiency certificate.
