And now a question for someone...

My HSK v3 elementary grammar book shows four sentences. The one with the * is incorrect (this is a standard notation in linguistics and language learning texts).

1) * 我买了书。
2) 我买了一本书。
3) 我买了很多书。
4) 我买了书,还买了水果。

Can anyone explain to me why #4 is NOT wrong? The rule explained in the video would, if I am understanding 老师 correctly, lead me to believe that sentence #4 is not grammatically correct, yet my texbook from Beijing Language and Culture University Press does not mark it as incorrect.

She is an excellent teacher. I've subscribed to the YouTube channel and look forward to more of her explanations. That is the best explanation of why sentences like *我吃了饭 are incorrect but 我吃了他的饭 are correct.
