A Phone Fraud

Last year, once I deposited 100000 rmb in the bank. 

My phone started receiving  a  call from the overseas or receiving some weird information.

I usually ignore the spam text messages and phone calls.

More often than not, I will set my phone to filter them out.

Then, a few days passed.

One day I got a domestic call starting with 136. 

I thought it may be someone or a recruitment call.

When I picked up the telephone, a men said, “ Hello, are you YANG XX herself? (Who said my real Chinese name)”

Suddenly, I realized this is not a normal call and something was wrong.

Then, I asked, “who is speaking? Anything else?"

He continued said, " I am an employee of Ant Financial(蚂蚁金服)，you have a 150000 Alipay credit bill overdue and need to payment.“

Heard what he talked about, I thought he was a liar and this was a fraudulent call.

I said to him,"Where did you get my phone number?  Who gave you my phone number?”

He stilled said something, while I hanged up the call.

Because I didn't want to listen to those nonsense.

My phone ringing again and again with the same number.

Finally, I pick up the phone again and the man said,"Don't hang up my call, if you don't pay it on time, we will sue you in 15 days."

I was angry and shouted,"Please call the policeman to arrest me or I waiting for your sue letter. Don't call me anymore, I don't want to listen to your bullshit. I will call the police that you threat and cheat me." 

Then, my phone started quiet again.

I'm very vigilant if someone call me with my Chinese name. 

Because my work language is English and people never call me real Chinese name, except my family.

Also, I never use Alipay and rarely online buy something.

So I don't believe the lair's words.

Scam calls are everywhere.

Everybody needs to be on their guard, keep the money safe.
