这是和孩子视频的时候发生的关于香蕉口红的小故事,因为孩子是双语聊天,所以我就直接写成英文的了。

My son is four and half years old and he is living with his grandmother recently.

One night we are chatting on the video.

Suddenly, my son said, "Mom, I got your banana lipstick."

He took a small banana show me.

“The word of Lipstick” I couldn't hear it very clearly.

I thought he was telling me he had a small banana and I replied, "Mum has bananas at home too."

My son repeated, then he opened the lipstick and showed it to me.

"Mom, why this lipstick design like a banana?" he said.

Then, I suddenly understood that he told me it's a banana tube lipstick.

I asked him, "Where did it come from? It's not mother's. It's just like the real one!"

And the kid said, "Mom, this is yours, I take it from this drawer," and he flipped the camera and opened the drawer for me.

In my son's mind, he only saw me used lipstick at home, so he thought the lipstick found in his grandmother's room is also belong to me.

"Oh, it may be your Granny's, Mama's lipstick is over here." I took one lipstick from my room and showed to him.

It was Dior's pink lip gloss.

The kid sees it and says, "Mom, you don't have banana lipstick. I'll buy one for you  tomorrow."

I smiled and asked, "Do you have money?"

The son said seriously, "No money. Mom, I'm still small. When I group up, I can earn money..."

"OK, remember to buy me lipsticks when you grow up. Remember what you said."I am very happy to say.

My son continued to say, "We can't go out shopping now because there is Covid-19."

I said, "No problem, you can buy it for me when you grow up."

Maybe he thought grow up need a long time and he changed his mind right now.

So he took the phone and the banana lipstick come out the room and said, "Granny, is this yours?"

"It's mine," said his grandmother, who was busy watching the TV series in the living room.

My son continued, "Can we go to the mall tomorrow and buy one for mom?"

My mother-in-law said with a smile;"OK, buy it for your mother tomorrow."

I told my mother-in-law that the kid kept holding the lipstick and saying it was mine, and I never saw anything like that.

My mother-in-law told me it was a hand-made gift from someone.

I think this is a happy conversation with my son.

The special moment needs to be recorded and shared!

How to translate “bad” depends on the meaning of “bad” Use huài 坏, “bad,” for people only, much like the word “evil” in English: That man, bin-Laden, is really bad. Bin-Laden nàge rén zhēn huài. Bin-Laden 那个人真坏。 When combined with le 了,huài 坏 is used only with things, in which case it means “to go bad/spoiled/rotten”; “become wrecked/ruined”; “become useless; break down”: My car has broken down. Wǒde chēzi huàile. 我的车子坏了。 The bananas are spoiled. Xiāngjiāo huài le. 香蕉坏了。 When something is “bad/not good,” use bùhǎo 不好: That movie is bad. Nàge diànyǐng bùhǎo. 那个电影不好。 When talking about pain or illness, use lìhai 厉害, “bad” in the sense of “severe/serious”: I have a bad headache. Wǒde tóu téng de hěn lìhai. 我的头疼得很厉害。 That person has a bad cold. Nàge rén gǎnmào de hěn lìhai. 那个人感冒得很厉害。Li Ziqi, she is a Chinese internet celebrity who became famous by documenting her self-sufficient style of living in rural Sichuan Province. Check Ziqi has over 58 million fans around the world on social media but has continued on her campaign to show the world a glimpse of Chinese culture that seems to be fading away fast. In her videos, she rarely talks when working and tech devices are mostly never shown. This stands in stark contrast with what our society looks like today, with million addicted to their phones constantly. I’m proud that she is trying to display a different style of life that is still being lived by people in rural areas. It is easy to forget how easy we live today compared to our ancestors' hundreds of years back. All of us need to take time and really reflect on that. We should stop living so harmoniously with our devices and stop taking nature for granted. It is really amazing how far you can go just by living off Mother Nature’s gifts. her channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/cnliziqi/videosBeauty Products | 梳妆用品 1. Shampoo 洗发水 xǐ fà shuǐ 2.
