What is the difference between traditional Chinese characters and simplified Chinese characters?

1、They look different.
2、Traditional chinese characters are used mostly in Hongkong and Taiwan. Simpplified Chinese are used mostly in Mainland China so the numbe of people who use it will be much more.
3、Except the characters are different, the basic rule of sentence is basically the same.
